The commercial marketer's primary responsibility is to design, secure, and deliver the best insurance program and professional expertise for our wide range of insurance clients, both small-mid size and large accounts. They work on an assigned book of insurance clients and liaise with our clients, producers, and underwriters to assess client risk exposures and insurance needs. They identify insurance coverage gaps, upsell/cross-sell, prepare accounts for marketing submissions, binders, proposals, and coordinate with our insuring partners.
Qualifications Required:
- RIBO license, active and in good standing, is required
- Minimum 3 years of commercial insurance brokerage experience
- Strong technical insurance knowledge in placement of all classes of insurance including specialty products and placement for mid-large multi-line accounts ranging from niche and $50,000 to $1 million in premium, as well as US and International risks
- Some knowledge of specialty products a/o segment needs would be an asset (eg. Cyber, D&O, E&O, etc.)
- Other industry qualifications such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc., would be considered an asset
- Post-secondary education would be considered an asset

- Advanced computer skills with experience in MS Office, EPIC, Applied Systems (TAM, Applied Rater) and PolicyWorks required
