In this role, you will manage the Commercial Lines Support Unit, ensuring efficient service in renewals, document issuance, certificates, and policy changes. You'll mentor team members, refine workflows, and handle escalations while delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Commercial Lines Support Unit
  • Ensure the team’s performance aligns with KRG’s service levels, including renewals, document issuance, certificates, liability slips, and policy changes
  • Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional service to both internal and external clients.
  • Develop workflows and processes to increase efficiency within the team
  • Mentor, train, and support team members’ professional growth
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement
  • Handle escalations and provide solutions to complex file issues
  • Assist with data entry, processing, invoicing, and other administrative tasks as needed
  • Serve as department backup, covering processing needs when team members are on vacation or leave
  • Perform other processing-related duties as required

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience managing a team in a commercial lines insurance environment
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial lines insurance processes, workflows, and policies
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop training materials and facilitate engaging training sessions
  • Proficient in insurance software and tools, with a willingness to learn new systems
  • RIBO license is active and in good standing
  • High attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills, especially when handling escalated files
