Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the Commercial Lines Support Unit
- Ensure the team’s performance aligns with KRG’s service levels, including renewals, document issuance, certificates, liability slips, and policy changes
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and professional service to both internal and external clients.
- Develop workflows and processes to increase efficiency within the team
- Mentor, train, and support team members’ professional growth
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement
- Handle escalations and provide solutions to complex file issues
- Assist with data entry, processing, invoicing, and other administrative tasks as needed
- Serve as department backup, covering processing needs when team members are on vacation or leave
- Perform other processing-related duties as required
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience managing a team in a commercial lines insurance environment
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills
- In-depth knowledge of commercial lines insurance processes, workflows, and policies
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop training materials and facilitate engaging training sessions
- Proficient in insurance software and tools, with a willingness to learn new systems
- RIBO license is active and in good standing
- High attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially when handling escalated files
