Primary Responsibilities
- Create, secure, and deliver high-quality insurance programs for a diverse range of clients, including small, mid-size, and large accounts
- Provide expert advice to prospects and clients on insurance needs
- Manage onboarding of new clients to KRGinsure
- Assess risks and identify coverage gaps
- Collaborate with producers, underwriters, and insurance partners
- Upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate
- Prepare marketing submissions, binders, and proposals
Qualifications Required
- RIBO license, active and in good standing, is required
- Minimum three years of commercial insurance brokerage experience
- Strong technical insurance knowledge in placement of all classes of insurance, including specialty products and placement for mid-large multi-line accounts ranging from niche and $50,000 to $1 million in premium, as well as US and International risks
- Some knowledge of specialty products and or segment needs would be an asset (e.g. Cyber, D&O, E&O, etc.)
- Other industry qualifications, such as CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc., would be considered an asset
- Post-secondary education would be considered an asset

- Sales-driven approach to account management, the ability to identify coverage gaps, and upsell/cross-sell

- Must be a team player and have a strong work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Organized with effective time management skills
- Self-directed and able to coordinate multiple placements for large multi-line accounts
- Ability to use creativity in structuring product proposals and documentation
- Advanced computer skills with experience in MS Office, EPIC, Applied Systems (TAM, Applied Rater) and PolicyWorks required
Compensation Range: $60,000 to $110,000 annually
Compensation is based on a full-time 35-hour work week and will be dependent upon the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. It includes variable commissions and potential performance-based bonus.
